What is The Poetry Revival?

Solomon Sparrow’s Electric Whale Revival.

The Junkyard Ghost Revival.

Elephant Engine High Dive Revival.

The Night Kite Revival.

Using a different moniker every fall for four years, Derrick, Anis, Mike, and Buddy lived in a van together with a host of other friends touring North American colleges, universities, and theaters to the acclaim of thousands. Anis’s inside voice and biscuit hoarding destroyed van life, and everyone turned to drugs. Except for Buddy. Who turned to women. Then back to men. Then back-to-back men. Then Derrick turned to Journey songs, topless. Mike turned to getting turnt. Each wrote fictional scripts about redemption, or had improvement surgery. And now they’re back. Poetry will never be the same again once more.
